Friday 1st December the line-up is as follows:

Headlining the show  we have the Californian Cannonball Russell Hicks returns with yet another show that will be totally new. You could see Russell 7 nights in a row and each time it would be a totally unique experience with a genuinely “off the cuff” performance.

“Hicks has a sharp wit.. the pessimism of Jack Dee mixed with the deadpan aggression of Denis Leary. A rip roaring night of tough love from a witty comedian” – Broadway Baby

Russell Hicks is Amazing” - Comedy Palace

“It’s hilarious stuff from a comedian who has a talent for riffing off the fly”  - Edinburgh Review

“wide-ranging improvisation and interaction with the crowd with deprecating jokes about American stereotypes and a wry swipe back at British culture… very funny” - Ashbourne Voice

Opening the show we have Lee Ridley better known as Lost Voice Guy winner the BBC New Comedy Award 2014. A totally unique and brilliantly funny act who has a BBC Radio 4 show starting shortly. Lee has been unable to speak since he was 6 months old but armed with nothing but his iPad – which allows him to communicate. Well known from both national TV and Radio appearances, a totally unique act.

”Candid and inspiring – but most important consistently funny” – BROADWAY BABY

“Diagnosed with cerebral palsy as a child, he embraces his disability, really breaking down barriers and having a laugh along the way. He uses his iPad to great comic effect to take us on journey as he tries to make himself heard” – CHORTLE

“Lost Voice Guy does not want to be one of your “inspirational” disabled people, he’s OK being a useless lazy arse like the rest of us” - THE WEE REVIEW, (EDINBURGH)

“Finding humour in strange places is one of his strengths” – THE GUARDIAN

There will be full support from Liam Pickford, a genuinely quirky talent.

“He’s got funny bones, and a scattergun mind that doesn’t quite work like anybody else’s.” - Steve Bennett, Chortle

Compere for the evening is Jim Bayes, Yorkshire Comedian Of The Year“Jim is able to fill in as many jokes to his allotted time as can be deemed humanly possible  – Scorpio

Cracking food, friendly staff and the live entertainment is second to none. Went to our second comedy night tonight, and what a night! Never had a bad night at Kenank’s and tonight was no exception. Fantastic acts … More of the same please.
Attended the comedy night last night, absolutely superb event! Food excellent, staff attentive, professional and courteous at all times – highly recommended 5* from us
Had a great night at the comedy night so funny. Also lovely, friendly and helpful staff and great food
I attended a Friday night comedy night with friends. We paid £12 for a ticket which included a very nice chesseburger & chips.
It wasn’t overcrowded and there were 3 different comedy acts, the final act in particular was hilarious! All the staff were very friendly and we all had a really good night.
I recently went to the comedy night, which was only £12 per ticket and included a burger supper. I must admit I wasnt expecting much being the cost of the ticket seemed so cheap, but the food was as good as always and the comedy acts were absolutely superb! Amazing night out!
The comedy nights at Kenank’s are a good night out and the burgers are really tasty, great service!!
